The carnaval, the biggest popular party in brazil it’s just about to begin. The party last four days before the “ashes wednesday”.

The modern carnaval started in Rio de Janeiro in the beginning of 19th century, under influence of the french tendences. In Pernambuco, the fun starts before the carnaval itself, to be exact on “antique recife” - traditional historic site -, in Recife as well, on the heights of Olinda, all the way arround this two cities.

Brazillian carnaval it’s also a great call in Bahia, Espírito Santo, Florianópolis, Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Norte, Manaus and São Paulo.
